Through the healing journey, we have eliminated toxins from our home, down to every last product, and along that path I learned a ton about wellness and moral fiber. Did it look pretty? Not always. The Lord has seen plenty of my tantrums, probably enough to make me appear as the toddler in the family.
But this journey has produced healing. In me. In my son. And that, my friend, is the goal. To seek health within. To not get trapped in motherhood, but find something to love and express through in tandem. No toxins and no artificial crap in what we eat, put on our skin, and breathe into our lungs. That means no more dull candles with soy, paraffin, or synthetic fragrance for us, or for you.
And guess what? Things are looking up. We’re looking to the light ahead, trusting that as we move forward with Bright Birdy, we’ll make a difference for people, in a big way or maybe a little more optimism.
From me, Finchy, and the rest of my family, we hope that as you light a Bright Birdy candle, you can take a good breath, and think on the future with the glass half full. Because it most definitely is. Whoever you are, you’re important to our little crew.
We made these candles with love (and color) for you.
Bright Birdy was built on a simple philosophy: to seek the health within and the light ahead.
Just FYI, candles were the output, not the origin of this story. *Gasp!*
Here are a few more quick hits: Mom of two. Bright. Patterns. Attitude. Stupid Jokes. Making my husband roll his eyes. And a constant need to rearrange.
But that’s all on the surface. The truth is, perhaps much like your story, my family has experienced real hardship. My son, affectionately known as Finchy, is a bright, sweet boy who has been on a journey of healing since we had to leave our home due to mold—and weather the illness that follows.
Something genetic made it worse, and we had no idea.
